The Bobcat Saga is set in 1898 Tahlequah, Indian Territory. The protagonist is a Cherokee man named Will Firemaker who as a child is befriended by The Great Cat, a guardian sent by the ancestors to watch over the tribe. Will continues his relationship with The Cat which Unaduti the Medicine Man claims is proof that Will is one of 'The Chosen'.

At the behest of his mentor Unaduti, Will journeys to the Qualla Boundary, the historic homeland of his people. While there he learns from 'The Little People' inside a secret cave, that his destiny is to succeed The Great Cat as the guardian for his people.

Will is directed by a "Stone Giant" to a site where he finds the wreckage of the alien craft and salvages some of the metal from it. Will, who is a Blacksmith and Metalworker, fashions body armor from this impervious metal, which is then concealed by his costume that he makes from the hide of The Great Cat.

The Bobcat also includes sinister characters such as Dr. Shock who is a demented former contemporary of Tesla. Colonel Silas is a mercenary who changed sides early in the Civil War because he thought the South was going to win. He has a band of fighters and engineers who have created a sophisticated arsenal of Machines and Weaponry that pose an almost unstoppable threat.

 The Bobcat is a tale of unity, struggle, and survival. Historical events and facts such as 'The Trail of Tears' will touched upon in this epic adventure. This adventure is filled with Action, Suspense, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and History. This story is unique in its combining of Native Americans, Aliens, Fantastical Creatures, and The Supernatural, all set in the still pre-modern West.
